STEP-BY-STEP ON HOW TO ISSUE YOUR VOTING INSTRUCTION
Enter the specific site for the meeting chosen on the “Assembleia na Web” site.
You can consult all the documents made available by the Company or Fund related
to the meeting’s agenda and can therefore issue your voting instructions which will
be issued electronically by the respective power of attorney.
In addition, you may participate in discussion forums with other shareholders /
quota holders and listen to or attend the meeting via the web or videocast, respectively.
These are optional services which the Company or Fund may or may not hire for its
meeting on the "Assembleia na Web" portal.
After you have accessed the site for the desired meeting and have analyzed the documents
which support your decision (Agenda, Public Call Notice, Meeting Manual and meeting
documents and information), you can make your choice following the steps listed
below:
- Click on Issue Voting Instruction;
- The next screen will contain a document for Instructing your Vote, in which you
will indicate how you wish to vote for each of the items on the Agenda by means
of an electronic power
of attorney. To find out more about the electronic power of attorney, click here;
- After making your choices, click on Sign the Electronic Power of Attorney;
- Digitally sign your
Electronic Power of Attorney (If you do not possess a digital signature,
click here to find out about how to obtain one);
- The system will allow you to alter your voting instructions and issue a new Electronic Power of
Attorney. All that is required for this is to re-enter the previous screen and
indicate your new voting instructions, generating a new Electronic Power of Attorney. When this is done you automatically
revoke the prior voting instruction;
- Once these steps are finalized, the last power of attorney with the instructions
you’ve indicated will result in your vote, which will be booked in the respective
Meeting as per the quantity of voting shares verified during the day of the Meeting
by the recording bank.
- Immediately after you digitally sign you will receive via e-mail a voucher for the
power of attorney that was issued.
- After your vote has been validated, you will further receive via e-mail and within
12 hours a validation voucher;
- There you go. You have voted in the desired Meeting and have received all the vouchers
regarding your vote, being assured that your rights have been exercised and that
your votes have been appropriately booked.
